Working Out From Home With Gym Closed

Well this has been a hard one for me for sure. I have lifted weights for well over 20 years and this has definitely been an adjustment for me considering my gym is closed for the foreseeable future. My wife kaki88x kaki88x has been kind enough to work with me to show me several circuit body based workouts. I've always been a gym rat, love moving weights, so this has royally sucked. But this has also shown me that circuit workouts kick my ass, a lot lol. What is everyone else doing to try to stay in some form of shape?

I have been looking up different at home workouts, and just doing them randomly.

My sister found Mr. and Mrs. Muscle and I looked at it today. It looks like it has a bunch of really good workouts and good rotations of exercises in it.

Got another circuit in with my weighted speed rope. Getting better already, but still kicked my ass.

Did the following circuit today:
  • Weighted Speed Rope
  • High Knees In Sand
  • Body Squats
  • Jumping Jacks
UGH. Good workout though.

Forgot to say got a Weighted Speed Rope circuit workout in today. 45 min in total. Good stuff.

Welp. Injured. Was doing some circuit workout on jump rope and something in my left calf muscle popped. YAY......

First workout in a couple weeks since I partially tore my calf muscle a couple weeks back. Felt good. Didn't do any exercises that had me leaving my feet. Lots of body squats and ab workouts.
